The House of Imesch was founded in 1898 by Léopold Imesch and his wife Marie de Chastonay. Their son Henri continued the business until he entrusted it to his daughter Marie-Hélène, who ran the company for over 30 years. The history of the company is closely connected with that of the sunshine town, Sierre. The sun in splendour, the city’s emblem, also adorns the labels of the “Soleil d’Or” line. The company’s vineyards are located exclusively in this region, in the heart of the Rhone Valley.
